Passenger Terms and Conditions

1. Platform Role

Ready Taxi connects passengers with independent third-party drivers. We do not provide transportation services directly and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of drivers.

2. Eligibility

To use Ready Taxi, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete personal information

We may suspend or block accounts that violate these requirements.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide true and updated information
• Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Ride Booking and Acceptance

• Riders can request rides
• Drivers may accept or reject ride requests
• Fare estimates are shown before confirmation
• Final fare may vary based on traffic, route changes, waiting time, or additional stops

By confirming a ride, you agree to pay the applicable fare.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

As a passenger, you agree to:

• Use the service responsibly and lawfully
• Respect drivers and their vehicles
• Avoid any abusive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior
• Follow safety instructions during the trip
• Not damage or misuse vehicles

Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Payments

• Payments must be made through the Ready Taxi Platform
• Supported methods include UPI, cards, wallets, and net banking
• Riders must pay the full fare for completed rides
• Additional charges (tolls, waiting time, or cancellations) may apply

7. Cancellations and Fees

• Riders may cancel a ride before pickup
• Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing and driver status
• Frequent cancellations may lead to restrictions on account usage

8. Service Availability

• Ride availability depends on driver supply and location
• Estimated arrival times are not guaranteed
• Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or external conditions

9. Safety and Liability

• Riders are responsible for their personal belongings during trips
• Always verify driver details before entering the vehicle
• Ready Taxi is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss during rides
• Emergency features may be used in case of safety concerns

10. Ratings and Reviews

• Riders can rate drivers after each trip
• Ratings help improve service quality
• Fake or abusive ratings may result in account restrictions

11. Refunds and Disputes

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of ride completion. Each case is reviewed individually and approved based on verification.

12. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

• Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Misuse payment systems or promotional offers
• Harass drivers or other users
• Attempt to disrupt platform operations

13. Limitation of Liability

Ready Taxi only provides a platform to connect riders and drivers. We are not responsible for:

• Driver conduct or performance
• Delays or service interruptions
• Loss, damage, or injury during rides
• External factors such as traffic or weather

Use of the service is at your own risk.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

• Terms are violated
• Fraud or misuse is detected
• Unsafe behavior is reported
• Payment obligations are not met

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of competent courts.
